About

Connor O’Grady is a womenswear and millinery designer from Brisbane, Australia, based in London. Born in 2000 and raised between Brisbane and Moreton Bay, O’Grady began sewing at the age of seven.

In 2019, he relocated to London to study Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear at the London College of Fashion, graduating in 2023. Alongside his degree, he also completed courses at Central Saint Martins.

O’Grady’s practice is grounded in nostalgia, sentimentality, and material sensitivity, often choosing to work with deadstock textiles and found materials to create emotionally resonant garments and headpieces. His work explores themes of femininity, memory, and reinterpretation, blending traditional craft with contemporary expression.

He was shortlisted for the British Vogue x BMW Future Creators competition in 2024 and previously awarded Brisbane’s Young Citizen of the Year in 2019.
